Oh, wow.
I think I just had an epiphany.
I've always loved this song - and the character. I even sing it to my kids, sometimes. But I never consciously realized until just right now how very zen this song is. :)
And don't spend your time lookin' around

Funny to encounter this again. I rented the Jungle Book DVD for my 3 and 1/2 year old granddaughter at Thanksgiving. My favorite tune, although it probably doesn't qualify for Zen status, is the Louie Prima song "I want to be like you." My son downloaded the music at his daughter's request and tells me she now asks (daily) that my son and his wife join her in "acting out" the appropriate parts for each of the songs. Apparently, it's not that easy being a snake.
